51% Of Teens Would Rather Communicate Digitally Than In-Person

In a new study, it was found that teens would rather communicate digitally than doing so in person. According to attentiv.com, that’s the case for 51% of teens surveyed.

Surprised? Probably not if you’ve been around teens.

But overall, 32% of people would rather communicate via text than speak on the phone, so it’s not just the youngsters.

Though texting has now become more mainstream and prices have declined and the number of smartphone users around the would have soared. And these days with so many inputs and people leading busier lives, phone calls are immediate and often intrusive, but texting, emailing and other forms of social media can be done when time allows.
