Motorola Droid RAZR Hits Verizon Stores

Motorola Droid RAZR Hits Verizon Stores

Motorola Droid RAZR has hit the Verizon stores on November 09, 2011. But that’s no news and we know it aint juicy. But we know this sure would: Amazon comes with an incredible deal on the Droid RAZR. Buy the fastest, thinnest and the strongest smartphone for just $111.11 if you want to own it ONLY on this special chocolate day or else be willing to cough up whopping $300 for the smartphone. Now that is the Amaz’on’ing 11/11/11 deal.

The Motorola Droid RAZR officially went on sale at the Verizon Wireless from Nov 9th and just like any other high-speed 4G LTE devices from the Verizon, the Motorola Droid RAZR too was launched at the stores bearing a high price tag of $300 (the smartphone coming with two-year service contract with the Verizon).

But all of you penny pinchers can look forward to a steal like deal. If you are not a Verizon regular you can own a Droid RAZR today for a stunningly surprising price of $111.11 from the AmazonWireless.

The let down here is that the Amazon has not extended the sale to current Razr customers. However for people who would want to renew then AmazonWireless has priced the Motorola Droid RAZR at a great deal price of $250.

The Motorola Droid Razr has been one of the most awaited smartphone launches of the year and the main USP of the handset is being the thinnest smartphone currently in the market; with the profile of the phone being 7.1mm thick. The RAZR claims a battery life of 12.5 hours talk time, and it is better battery longevity than rest of the smartphones on the market.

Although it is too early to testify it the battery-conserving software in Motorola ‘Smart Actions’ is an envious program. The facility prompts the phone user to turn off those features that aren’t in use to save up some power. The user can set the Wi-Fi on or off as well as the 4G data, now that is a lot of flexibility.

Talk about tech specs of the smartphone? They are impressive. The RAZR runs on Android Gingerbread currently, but is expected to get the Android Ice Cream Sandwich update in a couple of months.

The phone has 16GB of internal storage and expandable further by another 16GB (microSD card). The phone is powered by a 1.2GHz dual-core processor and has a RAM of 1GB. The 4.3 inches screen is a Super AMOLED Gorilla Glass type with 540×960p resolution. The phone comes with a 1.3 mega pixel front camera and 8MP rear camera are just ok for picture capture and video recording but may not be great asset.

The $111.11 deal from Amazon for the thinnest smartphone is one of the hottest around you can actually expect.
