Webmasters are still waiting for the new Google Caffeine algorithm to hit the search listing and thereby make a mess (or help) their lives. But it looks like the wait will continue.

The search giant said in November the new search rankings would be released after the holidays. Well, the holidays are long over - unless we are talking MLK Day, or even Valentine’s Day, so us webmaster/SEO types are on some pins and needles as to what’s to come.

From most accounts including my own, the preview of Caffeine which ran three months ending early November looked good. There was far less spammy listings and it appeared those sites with keywords in their domains did better.

But as always with Google, we’ll believe it when we see it. Hang on.

By the way, did we just return to the Ice Age? It’s cold here in the Florida.
