Google has been a busy search engine giant of late. Last Friday they made their search engine personal and a new caffeine ranking algorithm is expected to be unveiled after the Holidays. Two very major moves.
But there not done, as of now - first time I’ve noticed - live twitter streams are showing up in the actual search listings.
I just did a search for the Steelers-Browns NFL game (terrible game thus far) and look what comes up in the front page of my search (remember, they personalized ‘em!).

As you can see there’s a scroll bar to the right allowing you to view added tweets. You can also pause the darn thing.
Overall it looks kinda cool, kinda creepy and kinda wonky all at the same time. I’m not sure if I’m a fan yet. But I’m sure some people have already tried to tweet to see if it makes it into the G-box - Google must have some sort of filtering algorithm to keep the spam out. At least I hope they do…
