Google changed the layout of its search listings earlier this week, going from a two-column design to more of a three-column with enhanced buttons and menus.
Keep in mind that the design also varies from browser to browser and can be impacted by cookies and by your personal Google settings.
So what’s the impact? On quick glance the new search looks a lot like its competitor Bing. What this “condensed” search are does is reduce the space available for the listings, so one can presume fewer click thru on the backend.
So if you rely solely on Google for your traffic things got a littel tougher.
