Nothing like an off-tech post to announce that the construction of the Chick-Fil-A here in Ponte Vedra/Jacksonville Beach is nearing completion.

The fast food chain which is replacing Ruby Tuesday in the Marsh Landing Shopping Center and by the looks of it, the eatery could be open shortly after the New Year, hopefully sooner!

With prior attempts to lure a Nando’s Chicken restaurant to the Beaches having failed, it’s nice to finally have decent snack option for chicken in the area. My wasteline, however, probably won’t be sharing that sentiment in a few months.
